I came on to localmusicvibe.com after it was already established, but it was completely engineering-driven, and needed a lot of love in terms of user experience, visual design, and front end engineering.
It's a very cool site that lets fans find live shows in their town, and lets artists, venues, and promoters easily post their shows. For a small fee, they can also feature their show on the site.

My partner, David Champine, and I just launched Open Studio, which we built for MusicNomad.
OpenStudio is a service that lets musicians easily find a rehearsal studio nearby - just plug in your zip code and a radius, and go to town. We paid particular attention to allowing studios to easily create a profile and add rooms. You can see pics and descriptions of every room in a studio!
I did all the design, user experience design, and front end work.

I've got the art of table-less layout mastered.
Why should that matter to you? Tables are "set in stone" on the web page. Table-less layouts are done completely in CSS - one quick change to a CSS file, and every page on your site is updated - new colors, new sizes, new placements.

Create embeddable Flash audio players for various audiences.
The solution:
- Designed a variety of simple audio players that could be embedded in personal web pages.
- Created the players in Flash.
- Programmed ActionScript to attach an arbitrary sound file to the player when the page loads.
- Deployed the players as the user-embeddable end product of a Flash Communication Server-based audio application.

The challenge:
Create teaser video for upcoming video game release.
The solution:
- Produced and directed video that combined live action and 3D animation.
- Directed video shoot crew, animators, compositors, and sound designers.
- Budgeted and scheduled pre-production, production, and post-production.
